Non-fiction
Under 18 adult content that is not relevant to the story
On page animal cruelty
Zero spice (we like it spicy, but understand everyone has a different tolerance)

How to Submit

To get a better understanding of your writing, in a singular PDF document please include the following items:

query letter
about the author, including:
what got you into dark romance
one of your favorite books
the first three chapters of your manuscript
mood/inspo/music board (if applicable)
non-debut authors: a list of editors and/or desginers you've worked with in the past you would work with again

Please note: to save you postage (and the enviornment), we are not accepting hard copy inquireies.

Independent Authors

We are big fans of the independent author community. We accept submissions during our Open Submission periods. They are open for 12 weeks, twice per year. All submissions will be responded to.

Would you reject my submission because I’ve published this title independently before?

No, we are not rejecting submissions on manuscripts because this title, or others in your catalog, have been published independently, or self-published.

We will, however, reject submissions because you did not follow our submission guidelines, especially for documents and manuscripts written with AI.

Do you accept dark romance with fantasy elements, or sub-genres like dark rom-coms, dark academia, etc.?

Absolutely! We love all sub-genres of dark romance. A funny dark romantasy in an academic setting? Sign us up!

How much does it cost to publish with you?

It costs absolutely nothing because our billionaire book boyfriends have you covered.

We are an independent traditional publishing house, which means we took the best of the traditional publisher models and combined them with what we love about independent publishing. Authors are given a smaller advance and to collect royalties quicker.
