We are an independent traditional publishing house. We take the best aspects of traditional publishing and merge it with the best of independent publishing. This means our authors don't have to worry about designing, printing, and distributing their book - they can focus on writing and retain more creative control over their hard work. Our team works closely with the author to make sure their vision is brought to life and in the hands or earbuds of readers wherever books are sold.
Books can be inspiring for us, but when we connect to it, that's when it becomes impactful.
Our mission is our underlying magic: we enjoy the chaos of illuminating dark or taboo topics. Dark romance can be healing to write for authors and to read for readers with trauma. We will make sure these stories are told. Our platform is an inclusive safe space to encourage readers and authors to discuss books, especially if they’re banned. We’re not censoring books for being “too dark” or “too taboo” and take on that responsibility to supply the necessary and correct information with our trigger warning database and helpline page.
We believe authors should retain their rights over the work they poured their blood, sweat, and tears into. All the ink on your fingers or dancing across the keyboard will find its way into the hands of readers who are excited to read your ideas. We are here to be a partner in executing your story the way you want it to be told.

Libri di Lucciola was a General Track Finalist in the annual Fordham Foundry Pitch Challenge. The conference featured eight companies, who pitched their ideas to a panel of judges. Funding was distributed among the winners to provide seed funding and support for early-stage businesses.
